Mechanical equipment parts
Usually, mechanical equipment operates with great force and speed, so its parts must be strong and stable enough. If plastic parts are to be used, the material properties must be engineering plastics with high mechanical strength and wear resistance. Compared with traditional metal parts, plastic parts have the advantages of good insulation, no magnetism, anti-interference signals, and never rusting. Modified engineering plastics can also be used according to special needs to further improve the strength, impact resistance or temperature resistance.
Replacing metal parts with plastic materials is also a common practice in the machinery industry to reduce costs.
- PC: used for transparent parts, gears, instrument panels, mechanical parts, and contour processing parts.
- PP: Can be used for containers, pump bodies, guide rails, mechanical parts with low strength requirements, etc.
- PA (nylon): gears, bearings, seals, guide rails, etc.
- PBT: gears, electronic components, loom accessories, joints, guide rails, etc.
- POM: gears, bevel gears, mechanical connectors, pistons, robotic arms, guide rails, bearings, housings, etc.
