Maternity and baby products

If maternal and infant products are made of plastic, the following requirements need to be considered:
Safety: It must comply with relevant safety standards to avoid harm to the baby. Therefore the materials must meet food grade standards and contain no harmful substances.
Durability: Frequent cleaning and disinfection are required, so durable, temperature-resistant and wear-resistant materials are required.
Comfort: It needs to come into contact with the baby, so comfortable and soft plastic materials need to be selected. There is often a design in which soft materials cover hard materials, and there must be no sharp edges.
Lightweight: To facilitate carrying and operation, lightweight materials need to be selected to reduce weight and volume. Qili has produced: baby learning tableware, breast pumps, bottle holders, sterilizers, etc.

Common materials:

• PP: bottles, nipples, and tableware.
• Silicone: baby bottles, pacifiers, teething rings.
• ABS: baby toys, bottle clamps, bottle holders, breast pumps.
• TPE (thermoplastic elastomer): pacifiers, baby dining chairs, stroller tires, breast pads.
• Tritan: Highly transparent food-grade material: baby bottles, water cups, thermos bottles.
