Double material products (combination of soft and hard materials)

There are two common double-material methods in the injection process:

1. Double injection: A technique for simultaneously injecting two different plastic materials into the same mold to produce a finished product. This technology can mix plastics of different colors, hardness, and textures, but the adhesion of the two materials must be considered to avoid separation of the finished product during use.
2. Embedded lithography: Embedded lithography is a technique that embeds one material into another. If both materials are plastic, two different molds are usually used. This technology can also be used to embed metal or other materials into plastic parts, so that the finished product has the characteristics of both materials.
